Waiting on temps to get little higher (22 now), then it's back to the shop for more welding. Got a fresh propane tank for my heater lol. 4th tank in 3 days.
I downloaded a page called 1000+ brilliant diy projects to my phone. 55 pages of building pretty much anything you can think of. Like converting an old golf cart into a sawmill in under 8 hours. Its pretty simple, watched a couple vids on you tube. Nothing like that guys roller set up.

I might have 15 mins I can spare. Maybe I should build one lol.I can't believe he did all that in under 15min, that's impressive! Lol
Bud I'm as cheap as they come lol. I wanted a bender way before deciding to do this project. So I don't count that into cost of cage. Materials aren't bad at all. Unless you screw up the same B pillar tube like 6 times in a row. What kinda idiot does that right? Lol.Can't wait to see the finish product delton!!! There is a lot I like to do but I'm to cheap to do it lol!!!

Thanks buddy. I like the flat look personally. The rear will look like any other for the time being. I'm making it removable so I can play with different designs later on. (@snuffnwhisky 's idea and a dang good one). Its looking damn good @Delton ! I've been enjoying the pictures. Looks like you're going with the flat top, which I agree with. The turtle shell won't do anything to stop you from rolling end over end, where the flat top would at least try to keep you from going for a death ride.
Can't wait to see the end result... I'm sure you can't either.
Carry on sir.
Just now noticed this post @moparornocar . Bud if we can work out the logistics and can find time, I'm down with it. I was helped tremendously with this project so I'd be happy to pay it forward.Delton, I am not kidding, when you get yours done, I will bring mine to you to build one!
Lmao!!I can't believe he did all that in under 15min, that's impressive! Lol
That's awesome! I'll bring it down to you and bring mama and the camper so we can camp our way home. We can discuss at the takeover!Just now noticed this post @moparornocar . Seems like that guy told one person around 1800 bucks. If we could just curve the tubing for top tubes we would be setExactly
I started to give mine more slant. But didn't want the back end to be up so high. Or end up with it looking like the 700 roof (nothing against you 700 guys, just don't dig that look).
