I really like the idea of the Bimi soft top over the hard top roof. My only concern is what it looks like. Does anyone have photos of the machine with the OEM soft top?

soft top.
First off, thanks for the pics @dezs1775 !!! The rig looks great. So here are a few questions for ya:
  • How does it do in the rain?
  • Do you keep it on while transporting it on the trailer?
  • Does it add a ton more noise?
  • What is your biggest complaint about it?
  • Would you buy it again?

Have not had it in the rain yet. But it is made with quality canvas and needs water very well. Tested it. I don't transport it with it on. just me. as for noise, the front straps rattled a lot. So i put velcro straps on them. now it quiet. Also holds the polls when not in use. Only complaint is time to put on. by my self ten minutes. Yes I would buy it again. its a nice top.

Thank you for the review. I am looking for a roof (not sure soft or hard) for our 700-4.

Hard tops are nice do not get me wrong. But you can't take it off on the trail if you want the sun in. The honda bimni top arches so water does not build up. I had a pro armor top, junk. can am top junk. honda so far is great.

I'd agree with @dezs1775. The reason I am going with the Bimini top is to take off (or put it on) when I'm out on the trail.

I have never been a fan of a top so that's why I choose the bimini top. Mostly use it during winter and when there is a chance of rain. Otherwise it is off or rolled up to one side.
I choose NOT to use the rods on both the 700 and my 1000. Only had an issue overnight one time when it rained. Yes, it did puddle in the middle.
I never planned to run with it on down the road. But I did by mistake one night as I just forgot. Didn't notice it until the next morning. Max speed home was maybe 60 for 50+ miles. It did survive! I still would not recommend it while traveling.

I know we talking about the 1000.
But see my 700 install using the rods. It is almost the same - Bimini Top 4P install
Couldn't find any good pictures of the top on my 1000, I'll get some next time I am using it.

I've got the soft top with the built in back window. I also run without the bows. It won't fit in my garage with the bows in. I like it, but wish I had gone with the hard top though
