I've only seen it a once on here, but I lost low range and the problem was the sleeve on the cable that came uncrimped. I almost spent $600 to rebuild the sub-trans for no reason. FYI

This is a picture straight down from the seat frame. Inside of the rubber bellow is the cable and the sleeve. The sleeve needs to be crimped into the cable housing by the mount at the sub-trans.
Glad to hear from you Dave. It was your thread that I got most of my research from. I kinda wish l had to tear it apart to install the talon gears, but, if it's not broke, l'm not going to fix it. Great job on your post!!!
