Ya i removed mine the 3rd week i owned it.Was just in the way,I'm buckle in and try to be careful no prob..
Watch out for the branches in the tight trails though...

I keep mine on, because they keep my arms and dog in. Especially when I drive like Batman...

X2, common sense and safety. They are a bit annoying but I bet losing an arm would be more so.

I set mine up so they drop to the front of the door. I use them as an armrest, but they still give some protection.

Welcome here, I removed mine day one on all my Pioneers. They’re just hugely annoying to me. But what others said about safety is valuable, especially if you ride like 100A....

They do work as an arm rest, just about the right height.

I left mine a bit higher in the rear. Don't have a great pic of it, but maybe you can tell...

The branches to the face were enough for me to leave them on and the added security of preventing my wife from putting her arm out to try and stop a rollover. We don't have them in the Wolvie and I'd like to find some to add. A full face helmet would work too and the Wolvie has a nice grab bar to discourage the wife from sticking her arm out.
