P1000 Dual batteries

I'm looking into a Dual battery kit for my Honda Pioneer 1000. I have 3 assessors on my machine currently. should I get the battery? kit is it necessary?

I would say yes too, at least one more factory battery that's what I've ran for 2 1/2 years been good

I know figured two of the same will charge and go down the same always been weird about mixing batteries. Just me

I learned the hard way as usual. Fortunately they let me return it when I bought the larger one.
Everyone separates all their accessories from the main battery so both batteries will not go down the same. There was a lot of free room in the battery compartment when I first tried the standard size.

Yeah I've got it isolated and all that ,and everything on second battery ,10 sub ,600 watt amp and lots of lights and had no issues .

Pretty sure my isolater doesn't cut out until 11.5 volts so tell then it pulls off both batteries .If I remember right

Kit necessary??? No... BUT!!!!!

If you are like the majority of us on this forum, then YES is the right answer.

WHY.... because 3 accessories will turn into 10. I know..... because 3 months ago I had one set of roof LEDs.

Then came :
2nd battery
Isolator Kit
Winch
2 LEDS For dome lights P700-4
REAR LEDS backup lights
GREEN LEDS for night critter hunting
2 sets USBs
4” marine inline fan under seat
Another cigarette lighter for 5 amp center console refrigerator cup holder
etc.....etc

and I’m just a Hunter!!!!
If I’m a Rider.... you might want Whips, Stereo
sytem and on and on.

Being able to monitor that second battery is worth the add on KIT now.🤣🤣🤣

I believe running a larger capacity battery will be of no consequence as long as it’s of the same chemistry. (AGM) in this case.
