They look thin from the pics.
That aren’t super thick by any means but do offer protection, I’ll try to measure the thickness when I get a chance.

Anyone ever tried these? They're supposed to be 1/8 in. And this skid plate is supposed to be 3/16. Price is right on both.
They are cheap enough, my Honda oem guards look to be 1/8th inch. When I do my full skid I’m doing uhmw trail armor.

I just pulled the trigger on the UPI full skid plates and A-Arm guards. I'll let you know how it goes.
What was the damage on that? Those full skids are high.

I have the upi front & rear a-arm guards on my 2014. They are very tall, stout, thick & fit well. I am very happy with them but there are 2 things you should be aware about them:

1. They hold alot of whatever you are going through (snow, mud, etc). Im sure this is true of all a-arm guards. The upi guards do have large holes in them but they dont release debris to well. But i spose if they allowed stuff to fall out then sticks could get in so its a tradeoff.

2. I had to remove the front stock plastic caliper guards in order for these to work. After I installed the a-arm guards, I noticed that whenever I turned sharp one way or the other, the front brakes would lock up. After some inspection, I noticed the a-arm guard was slightly touching the brake caliper plastic shield, which would then push on the brake line during sharp turning. In my opinion it was not interfering with the line enough lock a brake up, but I removed the stock plastic caliper shield & this solved the problem.

I’m curious to see if these guards do the same on a newer machine then a 2014.

I’m still happy with the purchase and the product though.

I'll let you know next week. I'm going to install everything on Monday.

My brother works for a Polaris dealership in Iowa. He says that he has to replace a lot of CV boots because of debris in the a arm guards.

Got my UPI skid plates and A-arm guards installed today. Pretty straight forward. I did have to drill 2 small holes in the lower rear A-arms, but other than that, as long as you have a good place to work on it, takes maybe 30 minutes. And no interference with any brake parts.
Pics aren't very good, but unless I were to actually pick the machine up, it wasn't happening. I did this at work, where I operate a CAT 950H wheel loader, so I could have picked it up, no problem. LOL!

A-arm guards are 1/8" water jet cut aluminum and the skid plates are 3/16" plasma cut aluminum. All of it together weighs exactly 30 lbs. Probably a bit heavy, but at least it's on the bottom side.

Looks good, here are some pics of my front guards, they look to be the same thickness.
