Hello all,
ihave been watching this forum for a while - lots of info. Just ran into a problem

I have a 2017 p500 and I decide to change the coolant. I followed the instructions passed along in a earlier but the bleed valve as in the image was not on my 2017 model. I had to haul the entire seat out pass the seatbelts. you can find another valve there which released air when I unscrewed the nut.
thinking this was fine I decided to go for a ride. Only about 3 km into the ride the fan came on and the overheat light came on. ts only 5 deg Celsius here.

any thoughts. Would air in the system be causing this..

thanks

Hi,
Since the fan did come on...
Then ya, most likely still air in there.

Find a very steep but short incline. Like almost climbing a wall.
Leave the cap on and run the front up the wall and hold for a few minuets.
This works on the 1000 for moving the air pocket.
