My P5 is 54.5 inches wide at the front and rear, to save the rims from getting dinged and bending truck wells on my '96 short box F250. What I've done is stack a couple of 2 by 8's that are a foot long and place them against the wheel wells. So in essence a foot long by 8" wide 4" high (roughly), block that the UTV tires raise up over. This protects the truck wells and also provides UTV wheel chaulks.

My '96 has wells that are guessing 8" high? But they are rounded and tapper as you go higher up the well. So the 4" of lift works perfect for my needs.

Yeah, you're going over the wheel wells with 2". 8 1/2" high in my Sierra. I had ramps built already and chucked em when it still fit.

Yeah....I'm hoping I got..
..enough room to get
my straps hooked on

I honestly don't particularly see the point of hauling it in the truck... why not a trailer?

Why buy a trlr to pull
my p5...when it fits
in my truck....not on
tailgate...in my bed

Reason for 2" is I'm trying to match
the black rubber tracks....on the rocks
..& stability ....
....
