P700 first oil change

About to do my first oil change. Anything I need to know? I don't plan on using a torque wrench for the oil filter, any reason I should use one?

Just mind the washer that sits on the oil filter. It sticks to and and is easy to throw away with the filter.
I never use a torque wrench myself. Just don't go crazy.
