Here we go, another oil change thread. New 520 maybe a little over due,but hae I use it for work.
I think maybe 130 km and 30 hours on it. I've read not to use full synthetic on this change. I would have.
Anybody out there agree with this statement? I read something about letting the rings seat properly.
Sounds fair to me. I plan on running a good 75-90 full synthetic in the rear diff at this time. Should I have any
concerns? Next the front diff, is there a special trans axle fluid that goes in there or is it the same as the rear diff.
I appreciate everyone's views.
Thanks in advance

I just had my first (break in) service done at the dealership, and I was a little surprised that they don't use synthetic oil. Service guy says the transmission likes regular oil better. I have to say, after the oil change, it shifts smoother and runs a tad quieter I believe.
