Good thing a had some 2006 vintage GN4. Only grabbed 6 quarts. Wasn't quite enough. Book says 6.1. Missed that. Lol.

hope you didn't forget the sub trans in front of the engine. it takes almost 1.27 see post in sticky threads. i am curious how the 10w40 runs instead of the 10w30 . does it quiet down the gear noise ?

Didn't forget. Just didn't do it. Elmauel says every two years. Didn't says at 100 miles/20 hours like the oil. guess I could do it to get the break in oil out.

The sub transmission is every two years but the transmission is part of the motor oil sump.

It also has it own filter but comes from the same oil sump the engine get its oil. That was out of the Honda service manager.
