P500 Flat tire prevention - Slime, compressor, repair kit

Decided to put Slime in BH 2.0 tires, went pretty well and not messy.

Not sure if you guys do it, but I find easy to maintain battery and use it as a plug (to power compressor) by installing connector with SAE 2 pin plug, that I use also in my motorcycles.

Tire slime is great until you have to buy new tires. May not look like a mess but the inside of the tire and rim are. I have heard of repair shops turning away or charging extra to swap tires if they run into slime.
I put a cigarette lighter outlet on my dash of my P5 and plug my compressor right into the dash. Your way works too.

The connector has dual purpose for battery charging and bypassing main circuit/fuses to power compressor or jump start and not to blow main circuit fuse but only that is in the cord itself.

Is the stock cigarette lighter insufficient for the compressor?

Probably should work, I just had bad luck blowing fuses on my Honda CRV using compressor powered by cigarette lighter, so decided to do direct to battery cord , that will be also useful for battery minder

I don't want that problem. But my Polaris ranger has two OEM cig lighter receptacles, one is very low power and will only charge phones and such, the other is for compressors, etc., so I was just wondering about the one on our P-500. Perhaps that's why you were blowing fuses. At any rate, I like your method better. I just can't see enough detail in your photo to see how you connected to your battery, inline fuse, wire size etc.

Just direct connection of the wire (amazon link) to battery, the line has a build in fuse.

That Kensun compressor comes with a two pin connector, or did you modify it? It looks like perhaps you cut the cigarette lighter plug end off and adapted a two pin connector???

Man I can imagine the trail riding in that unique landscape. I pass through there every couple months, turn right on 84 just past Santa Rosa as I make my way to Las Vegas, Gallinas Canyon.
