Fox shocks

So just installed the front fox shocks on my 2016 Honda pioneer 1000-5 and it seems the bottom connection fits loose I can slide the shock back and forth a little bit does anyone know if that is normal?

Have no idea put washer in there and call it good

Can't put washers it's on the actual shock itself guess that's how it's supposed to be lol

Weight off the shock but I can still move even when there is weight

I had a 3 seat LE with this as well in the rear on only 1 side.
I don't have enough experience with them to say for sure it's ok, but it seems to be hit or miss so far.
