Hey, I'm going to change the front and rear diff fluid tomorrow. What is the recommended weight of the oil ?

Ok got a little behind on my project. Figured I would run down to the Wal-Mart's and get me some gear oil. Thought they would have a good selection. Boy was I wrong. All they had was the super tech 80w90. Will this work ? I don't know if its hypoid

I used Amsoil synthetic. It helped quite the diffs down a bit. Ordered it on Amazon

Yeah I have heard that is good stuff. Problem is I need to use my pioneer today and really can't wait to have it shipped

Supertech is hypoid equivalent. Pretty much all gear oil is... I use it.

80/90 is good, I just changed mine but I used Amsoil 90/110 cuz it was left over from motorcycle days.
