I drive through the woods a lot as well. Thick undergrowth and saplings are common obstacles. I also wanted something to protect some of the front fenders and headlights. I decided on the JEI. Very well built. My only concern was covering the radiator too much. I have never been above 2 bars for coolant temp, but I don't ride in any very steep terrain for long periods at all.

I know there's a lot of talk about front protection. I had an RD bumper with the full brush guard and I destroyed the skid plate and busted the front plastic getting trees behind the bumper. For me the Warn bumper just works better. With forward arms and 30s the tires take the brunt of off center impacts and bumper is stout.

Warn bumper, warn skid plate/plow mount and a custom aluminum/UHMW plate between them. Looks good, works good. That 6k winch looks pretty beefy on there too

My current one covers alot of the front area including a piece of expanded metal. Mine only overheats if it gets mud in it or fan refuses to come on. I gave guys at JEI hell for stealing my hood protector idea lol.
The original from Aug 2017.

Sorry to hear that. I do like your original from 2017. It's a great idea. I'll have to watch for any issues with mud buildup.

@Delton have you posted anything about your Pioneer since the hit? I haven't seen anything.

Update or create a thread so we can see how you're coming along, or how it worked out.

What hit do you mean? You mean the triple barrel roll down embankment? Man that things been all over since then. Not much has changed since. Built another cage. Removed flatbed cause foster kids got into mud riding. Other than that just been using it to make stuff to sell lol.

New cage (its actually couple years old now). Has mounts behind front seats to mount a side winch for steep side leans or to recover when rolled over lol.

Ah, yeah, thanks Todd! I'll bet I've been crossing the two back and forth for a while. Close names, both heavily modded machines and both do a lot of fabricating!

Looks great @Delton , I'll try to keep you two straight going forward...
