I have been all over the internet trying to find a front bumper that doesn't brake the bank. I'm looking at the wild boar but not sure if it's really a tuff as it looks. Does anyone have any input.

Do you have any fab or welding skills? If so I've got a pretty basic home brew design. The most complicated tool I used was a 110v welder.I have been all over the internet trying to find a front bumper that doesn't brake the bank. I went with the Tough Country, wanted some added protection for the lights and like Dave said I wanted the winch up and accessible.

Ok. So if thats all your wanting to do? upgrading to the LE bumper will do just that and is reasonably priced. All depends what war zone your going into 😂No I have regular bumper. Looking for something to help protect the lights too.
I'd like to bend a brush guard somewhat like your tube bumper above. I like the way it ties to the rops. I bought a jd2 bender but haven't played with it yet. I know there's an art to bending that tube and making it look good. Apparently you have the touch. There was a bumper that alot of people liked (can't remember who made it) but it was around 800 bucks or so IIRC. I'm building a very similar version in a few months. At less than half the cost and equal or better quality
The other bumper I likeed was the slasher but don't think they make them anymore. I'm in alot of wooded areas so trees come out of no where lol an riding the gravel roads deere like to play tagThere was a bumper that alot of people liked (can't remember who made it) but it was around 800 bucks or so IIRC. The one I'm talking about is no longer made, so we're probably thinking of same one. If ppl paid 800 for it, paying 300-350 should be a no brainer. The other bumper I likeed was the slasher but don't think they make them anymore. I love my jd2 model 3. If you haven't done it yet, converting to air/hydraulic ram is worth every cent. I can bend alot more accurately after adding it. Its a learning process. I had a huge scrap yard of incorrectly bent tubing before catching on. Been selling cages, tube doors, and bumpers for last 4 years. About to add a cnc plasma table to my inventory, so adding flat bumpers, skid plates, and switch panels to the list.I'd like to bend a brush guard somewhat like your tube bumper above. I ran this bumper for a year through woods of East TN mountains without any problems. Got bored with it and built current bumper. I still have this one laying around somewhere. The other bumper I likeed was the slasher but don't think they make them anymore. Negative! Is there a headlight guard add-on to the factory bumper available that would tie in to the ROPS as above? I would think that would be a good seller.
If there was enough people interested i can do that. Have it clamp to stock bumper and bolt to rops mountIs there a headlight guard add-on to the factory bumper available that would tie in to the ROPS as above? I would think that would be a good seller.
