Those are notorious for falling out.

The problem I ran in to is no matter what, water gets in and then seems to stay with the plugs in. I leave the fronts in to avoid grass/mud from getting in and leave the rears out so it drains when I go uphill. After a ride I aim the machine uphill and flush them with a garden hose. Just my 2 cents.
