P500 Front Pinion Seal

I have the front pinion seal leaking on my 2017 p5. I got the front diff out and apart and cant get the driveshaft out of the diff. I removed a snap ring on the inside and it looks like it should slide out but no luck. Thanks in advance

Thanks for the diagrams guys. Turns out it wasn't the pinion seal that was leaking! The o ring was out of place and pinched between cases.
