What about grass or mud building up on it around the motor look like be hard to wash thick mud on it

So far, it hasn't been an issue, but, I haven't taken it through any deep, thick, or heavy mud. Other than the full width sections, and the front floor board and rear drivers seat coverage, it is virtually identical to the stock plastic shields, so it shouldn't be any worse. I was initially concerned that the section that wraps up under, and behind the drivers seat would catch stuff thrown from the rear wheel, but so far, that has stayed completely clean, and will eventually be an excellent storage area for fuel cans, or other stuff. I just need to isolate that 'compartment' from the engine and drive-train.

I know this is an old thread but....in the rock quarry’s that I work in and mine rock we use a type of plastic material in our rock chutes because it last longer than the steel and it slides pretty easy so I can see this stuff being just fine. I’m thinking about it seriously.
