Hey guys newbie here. Just got a 2025 520 and it has some noisy gear lash. Does it both in Auto and Manual gear selection. Hard to explain, but some of you ole timers like me know what gear lash sound like. As long as your on the throttle or completely off going done a hill it’s fine, but if you get in between power on and idle while moving it’s big time noisy. Any suggestions?

Honda throws the gear lash sound in for free in the 500's. There will be some 500 owners along soon and may recommend a different oil. Congrats and enjoy!

They’re straight cut gears. It’s noisy. Ride on you won’t hurt it.

I also have a 25 p520 and I completely understand your concerns. It will get better with time. It will also be worse if your seatbelt is not in completely.
