P1000 Gear Shifter Problem

2017 Pioneer Deluxe 1000-5.
Recently when in park the P disappeared and I have a dash? When I wiggle the gear shift it will show a P for Park. When I let go it goes back to the dash? Is this a code? or are my cables out of adjustment.
When I start the machine cold it seems to run rough. Once I wiggle the shifter to display the P it runs normal-smoother?
Any help appreciated.

Check out post #27 in the link. Make sure it's fully warmed up first. The Pioneer and Talon use the same procedure. I don't know how to tell if the shift cable is properly adjusted on the Pioneer.

Interesting enough, Hess motorsports isn't running the Jackson airbox, they've installed a Donaldson airbox in its place. Do you know what filter type each uses? or what the basic differences are? air intake location of either? etc.?

I have done the reinitialization. It made no difference afterwards but thanks for advice CID.
