The Green Goat, thanks for that pic. How tough was it to get the original positive wire that was on the battery up to the switch? I guess I need to get back down at the battery but what is the other red wire attached to? Thank you for your time.
Not hard; the wires all follow the same routing (under passenger seat). I didn't extend the factory (+) wire. I ran a new wire to it from the switch and made the connection in the battery box, as seen on the left side of the battery.

Positive wire routing: Battery (+) > BS-MAAB > back to factory (+) wire > wherever that wire goes...
Negative wire routing: per factory

I simply bolted the 2 terminals together and tied this connection out of the way so it didn't short the switch by accidentally touching the (+) terminal.

Just throwing in some extra advice after doing this myself the last 2 weeks - go to the hardware store and get 2 longer bolts for the battery. I fought with the stock bolts forever before waving the white flag and driving to get longer ones.

Someone posted a while back they were having a problem with their machine. Turned out they had replaced the battery bolts with longer ones and they had worked loose. I put longer ones in mine too and never had the problem but something to be aware of I guess.

The Green Goat, that's nice! Did you run the factory wire that was connected to the original battery + up to the switch like below? So with this set up I would need to bring two positive wire and one negative from existing battery box.

But where do you mount the outboard motor? :)

Nice wiring work.
