Has anyone ever used Copart?

Sorry Rob, wasn’t meaning to distract from your thread so….😊
No worries. I never mind drifting from a thread title. It keeps things interesting and gives users something to read.

In my opinion the car is immaculate. If I had extra money I would buy that thing and clear coat seal it all like a time capsule and drive it to church every weekend.

So I finished the magnum today. I have some surprises for my wife. I wanted to give her some "cool" factor. I got some sweet deals on some things. First it got a 2" lift from ebay for $40, some led light whips from Amazon for $75, and a boss audio sound bar. For $200.

The lift kit was straight forward. It seems of good quality and completed its intended purpose.

The whips are decent. You can see the quality is not on par with other brands. The clear shrink wrap on one of them is not as translucent as the other one. However both are equal in brightness. Both ends of the black wrap are not even to each other and makes the LED length a couple of inches different from each other. They are equal on overall height tho.

The sound bar looks neat. There are 4 pieces that make up the roll bar mount. 2 tops and 2 bottoms. I received 3 bottoms and 1 top so the mounting would have been useless to me however I was already planning on mounting it directly to the rack so it did not effect me. The sound was a huge disappointment. I wired into what was the heater grips that I removed. I assumed the wire could transfer sufficient power. At full volume the LEDs dim with the beat. I did not mess with my sound equalizer on my phone yet and I plan to rewire it directly to the battery. Then I will see what it can do.

I got some Remington wheels for it but they didn't fit. I have ordered a different set of vision wheels.

Overall I'm excited for my wife to see it and we will ride this weekend :D

So I bought some Remington wheels that I thought I could make fit. The center cap hole was too small and I did not want to cut up on the wheels. Because of restocking and return shipping cost I have decided to try to sell them instead.

These are the wheels and the hub they will not fit around.

I worked on the magnum some more and replaced the pivot bushing on the front struts and got a new ball joint in on the right side. I have some new hub seals and bearing to install. The left side has a small leak.

I purchased a different set of wheels and I was able to make it work. I got some vision brand wheels. I wrapped them in some sunf tires at my wife's request. She wants something that will go anywhere and we were both very impressed with the big horns that came factory on our pioneer. I used a burr bit and grinded a small area around the front hubs on the wheel and I was able to make them fit perfectly. I plan on drilling and tapping the front wheels to bolt the hub cover on. Overall they turned out great!

I wired the sound bar directly to the battery. I did not hear any sound difference. It was still distorted at full volume and not very loud. The lights no longer dim with the beat. I will order a replacement and see what happens.
