P500 Headlight LED Bulbs

I'm sure someone has done this already. Here's a pic after putting in JDMastar 881 bulbs. Match the LED pods and bar better. Don't know if they throw any more light than before but are definitely whiter. They just plug right in. Amazon...like $35. Pretty obvious which one was switched out.

Will do. From what I hear they have about the same output just whiter.

Just wait till you get on the trail. May as well turn them off... Hopefully yours are better! I looked at those too. Let me add, it's not that the bulbs aren't bright, it's the light housings don't project them well. Stocks were the best of the bulbs I have tried, and several have tried hid with mixed reviews.

Well...that sucks! I have LED pods and a light bar too so if you're right at least I'll have a backup plan.

Finally got around to taking a photo with them on. I'm pretty happy with them.

I went with the 50w 886 bulbs for now. Hadn't had much after dark ride time. I'm usually on my way to bed before dark, with the hours I've been working. Those LED bulbs fortyfive posted look good. May go that route if these don't work out. At least until I get around to mounting some lights in the guards I made.

The led lights you have don't draw as much watts as stock so should help out on to many watts with my light bars right

Not worried about better just less watts, my light bar takes care of lighting

Correct, less draw. Brighter white too, matches the bar.
