Here’s my idea for fans to help reduce heat under the seats. Let me know if you guys think it will work or if I need to try again. Still trying to decide on holes or vent in front to allow air in but it can be done after I finalize the fan setup. Will definitely get wired through switch and possibly thermostat as well. And this is just rough idea, I will change hardware out and tighten everything up once settled

I would like to something like this. Can that vent be closed? In Texas its gets pretty hot in summer. I dont want to let any more heat in the cab.

@Tramguage1 you might want to look at the 8"or 9" electric fans CP and others have used. I went with the bilge so I could turn it around, but it is loud. The are several threads on the fans and they are quieter and move more CFM than 2 4" bilge.
All of the fans under the seat will make a big difference. I didn't install any insulation once the bilge fan was in. I'm old enough a little lower back great feels good.

Yep that will work, lots of guys have done it. On my first machine I had the exact same fan. Bought a new machine last fall and I'm going to use 2 fans this time.
I recommend venting them to the cab so it pulls cooler air to blow back. I reversed the wires when I wanted to blow warm air in. This time I'll just get smart and use a 2 way switch.

Originally yes but took it off cause in summer have fan sucking thru it to keep under seat cool

Attwood 6031497 Attwood Flush louvered Vent https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0009TPXCW/?tag=sxsweb24-20

Thought about this in black on top where seat overhangs so really couldn’t see it. Will have to measure when home to see if it will fit
Being in Georgia does that mean you Don't really need the option to blow warm air into the cab? If so that vent should work to pull air through the cab in the summer

Yes I have no need to reverse fans to blow heat in. At worst just leave fans off if I need some heat. The pitch on fan doesn’t really blow much air when reversed anyway

I have one exactly like that and it does a good job of putting heat inside the cab on those cold days.

Sorry I just mean in comparison to running correct way. Whatever works is great, I just have no need for more heat

Fan mount is done. Now to wire them. Is there any spare wires under the seat area? This is the only thing I will add this way so hopefully there’s a spare wire around here I can pick up on for these fans. Have 60mil rubber ordered to go under seat and up back like the ones Trigger makes for the 700

I like it. Nice and simple. Looks good. What did you end up doing for a vent?

I know this is an older thread, but I bought a similar fan with the plans of pointing it down word to be able to blow heat and dust towards the ground from the engine compartment. Has anyone done this and had any luck? I’m wondering where to place it and also if there’s any concern that this method may keep the hot air from rising and keeping it in the engine compartment.
