Hello, I'm orangecrate

Thought I'd introduce myself, I'm Joe but I go by orangecrate as you can see if my avatar shows. Any one know if pro honda hd coolant is special stuff or can I use standard coolant ?

Here is a little info about me to begin with!
Honda SxS ownership : Yes
I have owned, or currently own the following: UTV, ATV, Motorcycle
My off-road experience level is: Skilled
My favorite place to ride is: Mountains of Colorado

I believe the Honda coolant is special, but not dealer only. Hit a local parts store and find one that is compatible with the Honda stuff. I am not sure how the reg green stuff reacts with the Honda blue, so when my time comes, I plan to use the Honda stuff. $30ish on Amazon, probably cheaper locally.

I have never used Honda coolant in any of my Honda ATVs just used one that mixes with any color and is specifically for aluminum and that is silicate free.

I have never used Honda coolant in any of my Honda ATVs, just used a quality coolant that mixes with any color and is specifically for aluminum radiators, but this is what the manual says for pioneers
