Hello, I'm trailrider1205

So I'm in the market for an UTV. My 4 wheeler was stolen that I used to do so many different things with around my property. From fixing fence to spraying pastures. After using my dad's UTV this is what I will be buying. I'm pretty sure I have narrowed it down to the Honda Pioneer 1000 or 700 and the Can Am Defender.

I would sag that if you are looking for mainly a utility vehicle for the property i would say the 700 fits that job the best. I had a 700-4 and had 0 issue's and worked great for farm and ranch work.

I had the 700 and moved up to the 1000, it probably sees 80% utility use time wise.

You can't creep along at 1mph with the 1000 if you do you are just slipping the clutch. 3-4 mph and it's locked up.

The 700 is an automotive style automatic transmission with a torque converter. It can creep at 1mph all day long.

If you can lock the clutch up on the 1000 you're good.

I use my 1000 to poison our driveway, trails, and fence line as well as various other things around here.

The 1000 has much more power, better suspension, high/low range, "turf mode", I upgraded because it was more suited to what I needed/wanted.

Thank you. With the 4 wheeler I always sprayed around 5mph. I don't think I ever creeped it along on any of the tasks I used it for.
