I just want to make sure I'm not going to fall over every time I'm in an off camber situation, which is a lot here in Indiana Anyway I want a taller tire and I'm going with new wheels, 5X2 offset. I have put 1 inch spacers on the rear but not on the front. I should still be around 53 inches or so and thats OK for me. The 700 is 60 inches.
That's all a guy needs right there. Perfect selection.I put 26 x 9-12 on front and 26 x 11-12 on back Maxxis Ceros also on today,WoW what a difView attachment 12795 View attachment 12793View attachment 12796 View attachment 12797 View attachment 12798 View attachment 12793 View attachment 12794

How are these holding up?I've got Artrax CTX radials, 26x9x12 & 26x11x12. Basically, Bighorns knock-offs. I've been very pleased with them so far. Price for all four tires was under $300!
I've had them four years. Still wearing well. No flats or leaks. Running mostly in rocky terrain. How are these holding up?
I went with Rip Saw RT/25x8RX12 front and R/T 25x10RX12 rear. reason for 25 was 26 will eat up more power on the P5 but for me that is important because of a lot of high altitude riding. I also kept the stock wheels and it allows me through the 50" barriers. So what style BearClaw, Ripsaw, Bighorn? size for front? size for rear? Which style and size would get close enough to match what I want? thanks everyone!
- I have to keep within the 50" (for the truck bed and my storage shed) Literally no room for more width in the shed.
- Do not care about losing some speed,or stiffness of ride.
- Want a tough walled tire (want to prevent a flat as much as possible) lots of sharp rocks out here in Norcal
- Do ride in some mud (the stock tires have been actually good enough so far). But don't need swampers.
- Want to keep stock rims ( I actually like the look of them).
- Want bigger tires (not to big- do not want to cut anything). 26" , 28"? something aggressive enough to climb really well.
- Don't ride everyday, (maybe twice a month)so wear should not be too much of a issue.
@Ichybod Are they true to size? Saw an old comment where you said they were actually 25, was hoping that was prior to installation and inflation.I've had them four years. Still wearing well. No flats or leaks. Running mostly in rocky terrain.
