Hello from NE OK. Just be aware of the 700's limitations if you go that way. It has no High-Low range. We had a 700 and it wouldn't handle the mountain treks we take in Colo and Ark. We take friends and four adults was just too much for it on difficult terrain. The 1000 is a lot more machine. It depends on what your needs.

Yep, went through the same thing with mine in the Rockies and sold it because of that. Not a lack of power but the lack of low range…

Welcome from east central Missouri. Both machines are quite capable. I went with the 700-4 because it suits my needs for where and what I use it the most but the 1000 hasmuch more power. My 700-4 is going on 4 years old with no hiccups but if your need more towing capability or higher speed the 1000 will definitely give you that. Tough choice but you won't go wrong with either one. I agree with Junior 1954, I like my 700 and just fewer irritating issues than the 1000.
