P1000 Honda 2 piece windshield rattle?

I was riding across the lake to fishing spot in my 2018 p1000-5 going about 12 mph and the windshield started to hit in the middle of my upper and lower sections making a chattering sound. Do I put a grommet there or just put a 4.0" piece of round cut in half and place it on the bottom half? What have you done?

I used a piece of stick on insulation from work. It's about 1/2" thick. The chatter didn't bother me as much as the cold air moving through the gap when it did this.

On thanks for your input... when I.instslled it last year I got it to seal very well... I ride a lot in mn. When it us 15 degrees I. Winter. Now...

I used what we at work call armaflex tape to seal the other gaps around my windshield. It lasted almost a year. Towing on the freeway 80+ mph tore most of it off. This year in ohio we haven't had cold enough weather to bother with replacing it.

I use a 1/2” pipe foam on the bottom half and close the top down on it.
