P1000 Honda Roof + SuperATV Flip Up Windshield Clamp Question

The only thing incorrect on your setup is the 2 front outer clamps. The rest are correct.

just the outside front clamps are wrong?

i will remove and reinstall then work with windshield if all agree

Your 2 center brackets are on backwards, his are correct.

Mine were all on the roof already when I picked it up from the dealer, I had to turn the rear brackets around so it would go on the Rops. These dealers should know what they are doing. Doesn’t make me feel good about guys servicing my machine when they can’t get brackets on a roof right.

@HondaTech is correct, your outside clamp and brackets are wrong all together. This is what they should look like before putting them on the roof.

will drive over 2hrs for excellent service any day of the week.

thank you all for helping. i have some neurological issues that can confuse me from time to time (a little slower these days) but knew something just wasn't quite right when i saw my nets

he got his in brookhaven, i believe that's where i'll trailer mine for service unless you have found a closer place you like

My center clamps are correct but the brackets are backwards. Your center clamps and brackets are correct, no change necessary. Your outer clamps and brackets are wrong. You need to take yours off and line it up like that pic I posted earlier from the Honda instructions.

I bought mine in Brookhaven also. Woodville area has some good hills. I would love to GTG for a good ride in that area if it is permissible. Give me a heads-up if that is something that is possible.

will need some encouragement regarding said hills! i haven't cared for them since a child and there's one climb and descent quite steep i always steer clear!

definitely want to see the p1000-5's at their best
