agree it will loosen up some but the design makes it this way, especially at slow speeds, its like an old manual tranny jeep trying to go slow over the rocks, the gas pedal design doesn't help the situation either

some of it can be reduced by bigger tires, lower tire pressure, etc. - search posts on here but a darn heel rest really helps, I added one to my talon and keeps footsie more planted...

I don't think it's the trans. Mines new also and I think its in your foot and the pedal. They are jerky but you'll smooth out. I've got just under a 1000 miles and it's smoother with me driving. Let someone new drive over the right terrain and they'll say, man this thing is touchy. I find a few beers smooth it out and a few more smooth it out even more.

I was pretty concerned about that myself. However it does get smoother after ya drive it some, and I added a Throttle Max pedal extension. Man it makes a world of difference. Best 80 bucks I have spent on my Pioneer.

I did get the throttle max pedal it has helped. I only have 400 miles it does appear to be getting better.
I went with Honda to get away from belt but they need to fine tune their transmission.

They did change the DCT settings in the '22 models. Guys with 16-21 experience are reporting much smoother and quieter shifting on the 22.
