Just ordered this kit through work but it says back ordered until the 25th... Oh well

My dealer had every thing in stock, that was a first!

I was notified that the front fender plug assembly was on nationwide backorder and would be shipped when available. I have the prefilter assembly already.

From the email:
Please be aware that this is a nation wide back order with the manufacturer. If you do not find this part in stock with another dealer, they will have to order this part and it will be on back order with them also. You may cancel your back order with us; by doing so you will remove yourself from the back order waiting list. Ordering with another company that places this on back order will move you to the end of the waiting list.

Guess I need to start checking with dealerships.

Ordered last Friday. Said eta tomorrow or Saturday.

Ordered on 10/27. Received the airbox and push pins 11/9. The small block plate is back ordered with estimated ship date of 11/14. I had some left over ABS plastic and cut a square out and used double sided tape to block the opening temporarily.

Finally got the block off plate last week. So roughly a month from time if ordering everything arrived

Ordered mine 5 weeks ago and my dealer still hasn't seen them???????

Stopped at dealer last week he said the block off plug eta was 11/28. Hopefully will see it soon! Been waiting since August.

I just received mine on Friday and install was very simple.!!

The first rubber coupling that attaches to the underside intake box under hood on mine damn near fell off when I touched it. It only goes on a 1/2” and has a big rim to catch and hold water that’s splashed up on it. I tighten it up and I’m gonna find that heavy duty sealing tape and seal to the top of the intake box

Just took my P1000-5 in for the Clutch Update and Cabin Comfort, and told them to order me the intake update as well, picked it up and was already installed and told it was covered by warranty, not sure if Honda started warrantying the Air Intake Update or if my Dealer was just being nice? Not much money either way, was just surprised.
