Any ideas from prior ownership?
That's how I broke in my dragbike after I freshened it up with new rings n bearings. I put it through 3 or 4 heat cycles without coolant in the shop, then stick it in the water box lol.I break everything in the way I'm going to drive it.

I started in 97 with a cbr1000f, ran it for about 4 years then bought a cbr900rr. It was a nitrous bike til few years ago when I stuffed a cbr1100xx motor in it. Ran it for almost 2 years til my back couldn't take those 1.4xx 60' launches lol. Had to sell everythingwhat so u know about drag bikes?
Run it like you stole itIn a sea of zx12s, 14s and hyabusas, me and a few buddies had our Hondas. My little 9 with the blackbird motor in it would eat a busa for lunch lol. Best e.t. with nitrous 945 motor was a 5.89 @124mph in 1/8. With stock blackbird motor best et was a 6.12 @117mph. She was begging for a stroke and some spray lol. No wheelie bars (training wheels). Lol.
Thats what I was wanting to say in other words drive it like you are going to use itHow about drive it like you paid for it, Just drive it normal without topping out the RPM for the first few hours. No need to baby it , no need to stress it just drive and enjoy it.
I would not be concerned, of the 230 miles on mine all but 60 of them have been through the hills and trails in TN just like in WV. I would recommend running it in L range and cruise along at 10-15 mph on the trails just like normal trail riding. Giver gas when you need to or feel like it just don't run it WFO (RPM wise)for the first hundred miles or so. Just drive it normal unless your version of normal is a mud bog that eats winches for lunch from heavy use. Just keep your momentum rolling over 5 MPH on the steeper hills it will be just fine. So, in WV it is difficult to go anywhere without a mountain in the way. As I'm trying to get into a 1000-5, reading the tranny concerns, my question is would it be prudent to keep to flatter ground for the first 100 miles? Would you change your oils at say 25 or 50 in this type of terrain?
