I have my 28" truck tires on and I can't go over 56. It's acting like it's governing out. I go to add gas (skinny petal). When I press the petal it dies down and keeps slowing down till I let up on the petal.

My phone isn't wanting to attach the video. I'll try to post a link when I get off work.

It's snorkeled, but I've had it around 60 before with no problems until now

Did you always have those tires on? Does it act like its loosing fuel? Does have good power at take off from a start?

With those symptoms I sure wouldn't think tire related. What's it slow down too?

I have 3 sets of tires and I run these the most. Power is great on take off. The engine revs up when I add the extra throttle, but then slows down.

Trail tires (Roctane XS) haven't run them in a few weeks

Outlaw2s (not mounted anymore) put 30ish miles with them in the mud with no problems. 73be434749e73ada664d0b35178cbaff

With my 28" tensor regulators I hit the rev at 63. Your spedometer is going to be off. Also check your air cleaner

Strange it has power from start then looses at high speed. Maybe it is hitting speed limiter. What's the rpm when it is reading 48 mph? I'd check speed with gps to verify your speedo. Would really like to see the video you have of it.

I can go 60 with 30" roctanes.

@JACKAL had the same issue as you when he used 30" roctanes but the problem may have went away when he swapped to 28's

Does it stay revved up the whole time while it's slowing down

I was thinking possibly they were to heavy but why would it keep slowing? Did JACKALS do that as well?

It's more than likely a math problem that is too hard for me to solve. But when you go up or down in tire size it throws off what the true speed is and you would not notice until you are at or near the rev limit a smaller tire will hit the rev limit at a lower speed on the speed odometer. The rig is calibrated for the stock size and will not adjust to actual speed

I'm trying to get the video. I got it from my phone to the computer, but when I went to add the file it said it didn't have the right extensions

I hit what the dash said 64 when I first got the tires and still had room to go before the red line

My p1000 will hit 58-59 on the speedo but it's going over 60 according to the gps. I don't remember the exact numbers.

Try that link. I wasn't petal to the ground either. It was a slightly more than moderate acceleration

The link isn't coming through either. I know mine will do 67 according to the speedo. I haven't check with gps to verify though.

Are those speeds consistent every time or do they very a little each run? Will engine revs stay up the whole time it's dropping?
