Anybody making inner rear fenders for the 1000? I have the 3P and don't like how much accumulates up under the bed in front of rear tires.

I'm with you cause it does hold alot of mud. And what's up with the inner front? Anybody else have fun getting the mud out of those small squares that are molded into the plastic? You have to hit them at every conceivable angle with pressure washer to get all the mud out. I'm thinking that engineer never spent any time playing in mud holes.

Engineers need to get out in the mud more. (I'm referring to this one especially.)
I agree. Unless I'm missing something (never claimed to be smart) but what the heck do those squares do anyways? Besides hold mud?

I noticed the front fender wells when I was first looking at the Pioneers, they apparently don't have to wash the machines when they get done testing them.

Could you inject some dark colored silicone, liquid nails something else into all the holes and then swipe clean across the surface with a mud knife?

That sounds like a good idea. We had some silicone looking stuff at my old job that was for patching roofs. It was black and dried semi-hard.

I agree. I will probably make something up before too long. I think that I will mount it to the wheel well of the bed and have it overlap the top of the footwell by an inch or so.

I noticed that those squares love to be stingy with the mud, they don't give it up easy.

I'm not an engineer but I have driven a train engine once before. With that disclaimer, it appears that the little squares add rigidity to the plastic. It's like the roll formed sheet metal used for roofs. If it was a flat sheet, it would be super flimsy. When roll formed, it's much more rigid.

I would think if you got it dirty, your job would also be to clean it. I'd hate to be the guy who didn't pay the price for playing with the companies "toys"

My dad has a bed liner he took out of his new truck that might be sacrificed. Thought about barrel bottoms cut to fit. Looking to avoid seams and maintain rigidity by going with single piece while not adding much weight. Then a couple bolts would hold it in and rough riding wouldn't result in part of it falling and contacting the rear wheels

I have my first trail ride for our P1k scheduled soon.
I think I'll use some Pam in the wheel wells to see
if that might help with cleaning.

I've used WD40 on my Foreman. It helps. Just too lazy to keep applying it lol

while quickly looking for some bed extender ideas yesterday I ran across some actual fender flares at EBAY. Might have to copy/past link below. They are $250/set. I have no idea of reputation though.

It is made by Honda. Good quality and great fit. It was fairly priced for what you get. I purchased it on Amazon

I made a pair out of eighth inch aluminum diamond plate. Mounted to the brackets that extend from frame. Welded brackets to the diamond plate, mounted with two bolts to bracket that extends from frame. Mounted lower to the lower bed step tube, put a nutsert in and bolted from bottom, so all plastic remains factory. Primed and bedlined them black so matches look of black plastic. Then i put rubber seal on top when bed is down it seals nice and tight. They work great.
