P500 Insurance?

Insurance thru Farm Bureau of Ga. one half the cost of State Farm.

I just renewed my State Farm on my P5 and it was $128.50 for a year, I don't think that is too bad.

Darn, my SF of NW ga wanted $200, now $90 via Farm Bureau. Either way, peace of mind for insurance worth it for the cost of these machines. includes $3k for accessories. Foremost Insurance is the policy

I'm going to have to do some shopping. I pay 60 bucks per month to Progressive. And I've never had an accident claim, truck driven for 30 years, Smith defensive driving course, have 7 cars, 2 car trailers, and a 5th wheel travel trailer insured with them. The 60 is JUST the SXS.

Thats stinks, I have progressive too and it’s only like $120 a year. I need to check my coverage to be sure it’s not just liability but I think it’s comprehensive. It probably changes a lot from state to state too. My friends in WV have to pay a lot more.

You can't make them street legal here in Missouri, but something I have full coverage on it anyway. Home-owners won't cover it if it's stolen either. I'm going to call American Modern Insurance and see if they'll cover me SXS and my sand rail.

No, that's a "I'm way too cool" discount issued to way too cool people. funny thing is State Farm classifies my P5 as a dune buggy, sure makes the 500 sound fast.

Hmmm, maybe I need to tell my insurance company that I have a dune buggy instead of a SXS.

That is what my agent and myself have been trying to tell the underwriters, they are not dune buggies because a dune buggy insurance is higher.

Sure, but if you’re getting insurance on your P5 for a buck twenty eight a year because they’re writing it as a dune buggy, it sounds good to me.....

Wondering if I should get insurance for the P5 and RZR 170. Thoughts??

Bought my daughter a RZR 170 a couple of years ago but did not insure it. Personally, I have never owned a sxs or atv until recently. Purchased the P5 to group ride with my daughter and wife. I should have done this a long time ago. We are having such a great time and look forward to exploring new trails.

I bought insurance from Progressive and it was cheaper than my motorcycle insurance was.

Variance in insurance premiums kinda shows some BS in the industry. It pays to shop around for sure.

When I was a General Contractor and was asked to bid on a job that I didn't want or was uncomfortable with I would submit a bid so ridiculously high that it was normally declined; on the very rare occasion I would be unlucky enough to get the job, I knew that I would make lots of $ on it. It appears some Insurance Companies are using the same method.

Then I misunderstood you. I thought you had stated that your premium was a mere $128.00 because the agency categorized it as a dune buggy. So I guess you’re saying that once they properly categorize it as a UTV, your premium will be even less!!!!!
