I have no clue what I am doing, but that has never stopped me from trying things. I’ll learn as I go along. Plus, this forum has so much info!

- Rock Lights
- Interior Lights
- Backup Light
- Switches and Panel

I’ll update you as I go.

You can do it, just make sure wires are not in pinch points or where they are exposed and could rub, fray or become snagged.
Post up pics when you are done.
Good luck and if you need help just ask away.

It’s coming together.

Done:
- Lights mounted
- Wires run, solder, zip-tied
- Fuse added
- Temp hook-up to switches to test

Still to do:
- Install panel when it arrives tomorrow
- Cleanup wires in front compartment

I'm planning on doing the same thing but where exactly in the wheel well did you mount the lights? Stuck to the plastic? or on some of the metal that is under there? Some pics would be nice, Thanks in advance!

Hey, man, thanks for the question.

Essentially, I zip-tied them to the metal subframe. I hated to drill a hole and let water and stuff into the tubing if I didn't like placement and moved them to drill more holes. So, the zip-ties were supposed to be temporary. Well, I like where they are mounting, but they seem pretty secure just zip-tied. I have left them as is all summer. Below are some pics of where I zip-tied them. Forgive the dirty machine!

My grandsons would love for "pappa" to do something like that to our P1K5!! That is so cool!! Machine has a good clean simple lines look to it... God mods in important places (like your tires n rims!) without unnecessary clutter stuff! Nice job!
