I’ve got vapor Max winch and power on cable coming in today. I’m curious how I hook this up. Any advice or pictures.

Key on power harness is the correct description
Plugs into the back of the accessory plug. The back of the cigarette socket.
Access it best from passenger wheel well. Look for silver ring holding it on. Unplug and plug it right in repluging the factory harness also.

Ok , so when I’m done I’ll have a red wire to run to my switch and another male end plug for another accessory? Do you have to take fender well off or can you get to it without doing that ? Does anyone have a picture of Viper max winch mounted to a pioneer 1000.

I ran my key on power harness to a bus bar. Lots of uses for key on power.

Is there a splitter to use there as, I already have the harness for the Back up Light?

Did you order a specific bus bar or any generic bud bar.
You’re not going to be running everything off this buss bar, it’s suited for powering your switches, you don’t need much to do that.

No splitter, if you’re running a switch for reverse lights you will need to power it from a buss bar or wire it directly if that’s your only switch.
