Anyone using a KFI plow actuator?
You have any problems and do you like it?
It’s a lot of money, but if it works good it would be worth it.

Saw this interesting video if you like DIY stuff. Could use the HF 2500 winch that comes with wireless remote control, (I made a ladder lift with one, worked great).
Also there are a range of actuators on the market if interested, would think 225 lbs force would be enough for tilting the plow.

Dave- I have one on my Moose plow that I have running for 7 years now. They call it a "power pac" I have had zero problems with it and I use it to plow the lake to go ice fishing. Some times I plow for over a mile to get to the ice house. If you don't want to get out to move the plow by hand, this is the answer if you can get by the price. I have moved the plow to a different s x s with a heated full cab, so I am spoiled. It is also GREAT to bank up your ice house with snow and match the angle of the plow with the house to pack the snow in. Good luck!

I did something similar with the snowblower on my tractor, Kubota wanted over a grand for the parts to rotate & angle the chute. I did the whole project for under $100. Used an Amazon linear actuator for the chute angle and a power window motor for the rotate.

I have one on my KFI plow and it works great. I really put it to work several weeks ago while helping clear the local high school football field for the post season games. That was 2 different weeks of clearing snow on the field and around locker rooms, visitors bleachers, etc.
