Is there any difference in the mounting plate as far as year to year? My 700 is a 2016. eBay has list one for 2014-2015 and one for 2016+. The reason for my question is that the 14-15 is a little cheaper.
I have a winch mount me and my friend made but I'm fixin to pull the trigger on a snow plow gonna go with the 66" KFI. Like I said the 14-15 kit is around $30 cheaper not a big difference in price just looking at getting a wireless winch remote under budget. At the same time I don't want to cause myself any useless problems by not ordering the rite one to save $30.
Just my 2 cents but if you plan on getting bigger tires later, The 66inch at full angle leaves 3 inch packed snow on both sides cause the blade only plows 60 inch wide. I recommend 72 inch.I have a winch mount me and my friend made but I'm fixin to pull the trigger on a snow plow gonna go with the 66" KFI. 2 cents accepted I've went back and fourth with that too... where I live it's paved uphill backroad that the state refuses to plow and a gravel driveway. I had a 1978 longbed chevy with a western cable plow but life happens and I sold it. I know it's big shoes to fill but I'll b using it to plow my road and keep my driveway ironed out from heavy rain washouts. That all said I was looking at the 66" to possibly being less stress on the pioneer but at the same time it'll have to do more work to make up for the 6"... Go big or go home is a good rule of thumb tho.Just my 2 cents but if you plan on getting bigger tires later, The 66inch at full angle leaves 3 inch packed snow on both sides cause the blade only plows 60 inch wide. It sticks out pretty far from the outside looking in but from the inside if it was closer you couldn't see the plow and once it is angled being 72" wide needs to be out that far. I like it a lot it's built extremely well, I've not had any snow to push but I have pushed gravel around and it turns the pioneer into a rubber tired mini bulldozer so I figure snow will be no contest for it.Is it just the pictures, but it seems to stick way out. Was looking at the same plow.
