I will have to say a few things impress me in thier design.

66" overall height with 20" of travel & 15" of ground clearance on 29" tires and Fox 2.5 shocks. Achieved by the radiused roll cage shape. Comparing to my P1K with a 2" lift, 28.5" tires, 11" travel sitting at 81" tall. That lower COG has to help handling tremendously.

I don't care about a turbo, but I would love for Honda to follow a similar design cue for any future sport model meaning. Lose the super high roll cage overall height going with the radius design shape 6" lower than current offerings, 16-18" of travel with remote reservoir shocks and crank 100-110 hp with Honda's typical torque curve. That would tickle me pink.

Got the same email, $27000 BASE price for the super gettit 72" desert runner....27,000 DOLLARS no accessories.

That's dollars y'all, not Yen or Pesos.

Sure hope Hondas sport comes in under $20000

Actually the X3's include a roof and UHMW skid plates from the factory that's nearly $1400, not to mention factory front arched a arms there's is a bit more thane meets the eye if you look closely. But they aren't cheep

Double the suspension travel, more than double the HP by 12 hp. $17k vs. $27K actually not bad. Consider just to get proper roll cage and full suspension that's $8k that puts you at $25k for a P1k with 72Hp vs. 154Hp.

If it's factory there's no real cost difference in straight or arched. Skid either they're taking one off and putting different one on, every SXS should come FACTORY with a UHMW skid.

Roofs the only real significant add.

And 3' of frame, driveshaft, wiring harness, brake/fuel lines, carpet, headliner, roof and two doors justifies the $20,000 difference between a reg cab truck and a crew-cab truck?

I think the premiums for the "one" people want are a bit overblown.
