I did a bit of searching on this topic and didn't find anything newer than a year old so thought I'd revive the subject. I've got a 2105 P5 that I'd like to put LED headlights on, but there didn't seem to be any good ones mentioned in the threads I found. Has anything changed?

Ah, just found the thread on that with some google foo. While that looks awesome and I may consider it I'd also like to hear from anyone that has just replaced bulbs with good results.

JDMaster 881's. Plug and play LED bulbs. Way easier alternative.
Won't be much brighter than stock halogens, just whiter to match the LED bars and pods. Draw less power too.
Amazon I think, it's been a while.

I thought so many times I might buy the halogen housings for the 1000 and replace to a good hid. I will say the pattern in the led is great and they are much better then halogens but they just don't have the omph the HIDs do. With good led fixtures you don't need headlights but for the price and ease of install I think it's well spent.

Yup.. for $40 the HID light output is phenomenal!
