I haven't heard many responses from people that have mounted up pickup tires. I know there are at least a couple that have done it, what are your thoughts? What size tire did you buy? How does the machine ride and handle with the pickup tires? I don't plan on lifting my P1000-5 at all, so I'd potentially be looking at 215/75 R15 to stay fairly close to stock diameter, but I'd like to hear what others have tried.

I'm ordering them today so when they get in and get some time on them I'll report back

I wanted the Federal tires, but Amazon only had 1 in stock. So I bought some Nankang M/Ts from Discount Tire Direct for under $424. 3-7 days on shipping

Got my tires in today and mounted up! Liking them so far drove them down the road and back so far. I'm going to ride tomorrow and get a better feel of them.

Mounted right now the tires measure 28" (I'll check again them in the morning)

Gained another inch or so off the tires.

Front by the door: just under 16 inches

Rear ( by the step thingy at the back of the cab: 17 3/4"

I'll get some in the morning.

They were $423.88 with valve stems. With out would save you $12. Which I did not need because the wheels came with them and didn't know it.

I was going to order Federal Cougaria off Amazon but they only had 1 in stock when I was puchasing. I found those tires on Discount Tire Direct. They are 235/75r15
I bet those ride like a million bucks. Im thinking about doing something like this in summer and winter when plowing putting stock tires back on with flush mount spikes that wear down with tire. I just don't know if this is an aggressive enough tire for me or not. I think I would like something like big mud terrains in summer and bighorns with spikes in winter (spikes isn't the word Im looking for but Im tired can't think)

What kind of terrain are you going to be riding in?

From what I've herd/read they are 4x136, however 4x137 wheels do fit. Just make sure to get 12mm lug nuts or reuse the originals.
