P1000 Lights in back

I just purchased a pair of Rigid Pods to mount on the back of my 1000-5. For those of you with a pair of pods on the back, where and how did you mount them?

I got my plug and play lights from the store here, no splicing wires, two bright lights, comes on automatic when in reverse. Check them out at the @Hondasxs store here

I thought about that, but don't want them to come on every time I reverse. I need to be a bit more "stealth" sometimes

There’s an add on to make it a premium 3-way switch set up. You can turn it on, on in reverse or off completely. It’s a really nice add on. 😎

This is what I’m doing, on when needed, off when not. You will need 2 roll bar clamps, or weld a bracket for them.

I used like a 22 bulb LED for the backup light. It is wired directly to the backup buzzer pigtail. I have a hard enough time backing up, sure don't need to cut the light off!

I have both of these. The lights and 3 position switch from the @Hondasxs store. Works great.

Where did you get the "Pioneer" and "Honda" rear guards? Are they available for the 700.

I just purchased a pair of Rigid Pods to mount on the back of my 1000-5. For those of you with a pair of pods on the back, where and how did you mount them?

I tied mine into my front light bar and put a toggle switch to be able to run them separate. The round hole in the frame where the center roll bar goes across is perfect just used a couple big flat washers with 1/4 in hole in middle for the toggle.

The pod lights I installed using the backup buzzer pigtail a couple of years ago have recently somehow shorted or something. I replaced the shift position switch because that was the DTC code that came up. While ringing out the new switch I had issues with reverse position showing resistance when it should've showed continuity. Disconnected the backup lights at the backup buzzer pigtail and position switch rang out good. To make a short story long, I would buy good quality light pods.

Another vote for the club store setup from me. They work great, come with OEM clamps, and it took less than 45 minutes to get them installed.

A guy in Kentucky did both. It might take me a minute but I will get you the info. S&S Fabrication,LLC. I saw them on Facebook and I think his name is Shaun. He cut whatever I wanted in them and powder coats whatever color.

These are mounted with some clamps I got on amazon. You can use many different types of clamps to your choosing. The lights are Auxbeams. I’ve had them on almost 5yrs and they work great.

I used these clamps so you can adjust them to whatever position or angle you would like
