I also like the stock exhaust quietness. Loud pipes don’t make you perform much better for the $ spent. Huge tires may look cool but raise havoc on suspension, drive train etc. SXS s all have limits.
Have you considered 35's and 25% or 30% Internal Gear Reduction? You would gain some more ground clearance and get your torque back. For climbing, I think this would be the ticket.

Portals and tuned get frowned upon here for some reason or at least they do on the Pioneer side. But I have both and am very pleased. Complete Off-road Powersports out of Texas did my tune with a PowerVision 3 so I’d recommend them to you Talon guys the same. Just my opinion though
Same place I said above is doing internal trans work as well. I haven’t done it so can’t comment much on it
There is an Internal Gear Reduction available for the Talon. I think it is currently only available in 25%. Look here...

They are great to work with. They have tuned mine and another buddies 1000’s.
If anyone is interested (or curious), I was able to contact Danielle at Reduction Boss Machining. Here is the scoop on the Talon IGR...
- They offer 25% gear reduction.
- They are currently 4 to 6 weeks out (mainly due to material supply issues). You need to contact them to get on a waiting list.
- Once they are ready for you, you must send them your Rear Cover Spacer and Bare Clutch Hub from your machine (or buy new ones if you don't want any down time but they are very expensive ~$800).
- Kit price is $1,150. Not sure if that includes a few required gaskets and o-rings or not, I will find out.
- You will need 2 SpeedoDRD units to correct the shifting and another for the speedo if you want to correct that. They are about $70 each.

I just installed an evolutions slip on exhaust that they clam adds 4 hp. I like the exhaust cause it is only 4 dB louder than stock but has a deep tone to it. So I can’t really tell if I have more power or not but for under $500 might be a good option
