I installed a 3500lb. Viper Max on my 500 today. I used the mount that they included and it worked well. If anyone else has used Viper's (Moto-Alliance) supplied mount I have a question. The only way you can see the spool is on your hands and knees. Makes it difficult to see how cable is spooling. Winch actualy lies under the top flat plate of mount unless I have really messed up. Also when using a snatch block where is the best place to attach cable back at machine.
