I like the extra coverage front extensions from Mudbusters, but not too sure about their insert extensions for the back. I think I would prefer an extension to the outside of the Plastics instead. Does anyone offer those?
I'm not much of a fabricator, but I really don't want these rigid rear Plastics at 55 in wide. Would prefer something with more give like the Mudbusters fronts.
I suppose I could go with the Mudbusters fronts and rear mud flaps see how I like that.

I don't like muddin and I have issues with the stock width on our stock machine. I had a set of ITP Black Waters tires that threw less mud than any tires I've had, they cleaned out very well, semi aggressive tread, I went with ITP Terra Hooks this time, less aggressive tread but more cutting edges, I know the life won't be as long as some of the other tires available. But have never used tires down to the cord. Seems to me the area and what you like to ride in has every thing on your decision. No mud busters more us.
The rear flaps do help with upward slinging as noted in the after Takeover ride and the clean cargo rack. Really notice a positive with the newmbump bed. Would buy them again. Agree with you on a modest side flare. Would be nice to have something flexible like the rubber @trigger uses, maybe a 2-3 inch lip??
I like the mudbusters on the rear.keeps mud from flinging up.i bought a product called flexi flares to mount on the sides.think I got it off eBay.a b**** to work with.had to clamp, drill, and rivet them to the fenders
