Oh wow. I worked 16hrs today but I couldn’t take it any longer so when I got home I took it for a spin around the block. Granted it was after 9 and I live in town so couldn’t do much. But I can tell you it’s a different machine now and the reverse shifting is crazy cool. It’s much smoother, stronger and even sounds better. I have to do some data logging in real conditions and send to tuner for fine tuning. He says it will get better after that but even if it didn’t I’m already happy. Feels like low end has double the power now. Man I’m excited now to get it in some mud for proper testing!!

I like the looks of these. Do they do well for keeping the wind down around the shift levers?

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

yes wind is blocked really well with them.

Adding new steering brackets and doing first service on portals. Also added front hitch, not to pull on but to put clevis in and hook winch to when not in use

Replaced injector plugs today and cleaned/oiled the air filter. I hope whoever designed that air filter for Honda doesn’t work there anymore
Cleaned it up while in there. Also loaded a new tune with better shift points.

Installed the TCP setup today. Easy install once get to it and fitment was great. Had to loosen the overflow and spin it to keep the exit tube from hitting my bracket lift but no other issues.
My buddy came over and we put 4” portals on his machine and I tried on his new wheels and tires to see how they fit. 34.5 measured Black Bears which are a outback knockoff. I cleared them with ease and between the portals and Morris’s tune it had no problem turning them. Now to shop for me some new ones.

What do you think of the radiator? Did the caps line up well and the holes in the mounting tabs?

Mounting tabs seemed a little high but I just bent up the lower tabs that held the grommets so the pins didn’t pull out if them. Radiator cap lines up like stock but should have been backed up and raised some IMO. The overflow cap is under the plastic panel and I’m not cutting it but the radiator flexes forward easy to have room to take overflow cap off. May look at changing it some later for better access but it was a long day today

That's odd your overflow was off. I cant tell if he changed the mount but mine lines up perfectly. The tabs were supposed to be slotted where they bolt to the shroud so they could be adjusted....

I will get some pics tomorrow from top but it’s not an issue. Had nobody asked I wouldn’t have mentioned it. My fan had a slight tic and it went away when I flexed the radiator to front to get the overflow cap off so I’m going to make a tensioner bolt to thread into my bracket lift with a foot on it to keep pressure pushed forward.

Sorry @Cuoutdoors i forgot about the pics. Good news is we went mudding yesterday and no issues. Felt good to not have to worry about the temp. Do have a tick in the fan though I have to fix

First mud ride yesterday on the portals, the tune and the new radiator setup. I should have done these three things to start with. No more worries turning tires in whatever and no worries on temperatures. I could have dug to China pulling this rubber band machine out.

Full day of mudding today and broke nothing!! Finally getting it where and how I want it. If these tires would hurry up and wear out so I can get 34’s I will be happier. Got couple of videos if I can figure out how to upload them without YouTube.

I have four Boss 4” tower speakers, Boss square marine head unit, PBR dash, Jensen marine 10” powered sub and WetSounds 6.5” powered sub all waiting to be installed. Hope to work on it all some this week. Possibly leaving the powerbass XL800 soundbar in place as well and integrate it into the system.

Also have some new tunes to try out. Hess Motorsports tune and Morris brothers 93 octane tune!!

Interested in what you think of those tunes. You get your steering wheel junk in yet?? I ordered a wheel and got a refund notification yesterday saying they didn't have it in stock ....

Yeah I’m excited to try the performance tunes. All steering wheel stuff is in except for the one I bought just to steal the boot from. That part should be in tomorrow. The wheel itself I was very surprised in that it looks really good in person. Was worried it would feel cheap but it doesn’t at all. The quick connect setup also is a really nice piece. If I ever make it home tonight from work I will snap some pics. But it will be at least tomorrow night before I can try to install.
