I moved my new set up to my basement so I could work in a warm space. Cold tires don’t like to slide on wheels very easy.

Here is a quick shot of the new rubber and beadlock wheels. I hope to work on them tomorrow.

Godspeed on clicking your torque wrench 800x while sequentially torquing all of them.

pro tip: set the wheel over a 5 gal bucket so its elevated to a comfortable position and squeeze it between your legs to keep it from turning. that's what I did and it still took forever.

I used antiseze on every bead lock bolt, that will help slow the process down even more.

28x10 Interco Snipers. 8 ply radials that are DOT marked. Tread is 3/4 of an inch deep.

I’m going here from 27x11 Bighorn 3.0 radials to these so I can get closer to 52.5” wide. My current set up is about 55” wide. To wide for 50” gates

A buddy of mine runs those Snipers on his RZR900. He really likes them.

OK, a quick update:

I finally got all of the tires mounted over the weekend. That was a bear! I did my original set of beadlocks with no real issues, but these were way worse. The sidewalls were so stiff, I had to go to the hardware store and buy longer bolts of the same size and pitch just so I could get something started. After I got for of the longer bolts in and snugged down the beadlock ring, I could then go back and install the regular hardware.

Used a bucket to rest the wheel on and anti-seize on all bolts. Still have to go back and hit with the torque wrench, but have a little time before I can mount the wheels the Pioneer.

I inflated one of the tires to 12psi and measured. I marked a spot on the ground and rolled the tire forward in a straight line until I go to the same spot on the tire. That measured 85" 85/3.14=27.07".

Hopefully they work out.

I am expecting them to get me closer to the machine width I am looking for. I also expect them to be quieter than the BigHorns.

I'm not sure how they will ride. Reduced sidewalls from what I have now will marginally hurt. The sidewalls are noticeably stiffer, so I might have to run slightly lower pressure than what I'm accustom to.

Hopefully some time this week I can get it all sorted out. I might change the color of my plastic from Blue to either black, red or grey with wrap. Red anodized hubs and shocks would be fun with an all black look.
